Projects Related to Tree Planting | Our Activities | The Fukuyama Transporting Komaru Environment Foundation

We engage in activities related to environmental conservation, such as planting trees and roses in Japan and overseas.

On March 12, 2023, with the completion of the Fukuyama Transporting Group Higashikagawa Sales Office and in cooperation with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., we planted rose saplings from Fukuyama, a city known for its roses, to help launch the new site.

On March 2, 2023, we pruned roses and planted saplings in the sidewalk flower beds in front of the Head Office of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., which we manage on behalf of Fukuyama City.

On December 8, 2022, in cooperation with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd. and Koshii Wood Industry Co., Ltd., we planted 6,000 Acacia hybrid saplings (2 hectares) in the Sook Plain state forest in Sabah, Malaysia. Acacia hybrids absorb and reduce carbon dioxide by approximately 20 tons per hectare per year. In addition, they have strong growth potential to grow for about 15 years, and are used for construction and truck bed floors. This project was conducted as part of our efforts to regenerate wood resources and protect the global environment.

On March 31, 2022, with the completion of the Gifu Kani Branch of Fukuyama Transporting Co. Ltd., and in cooperation with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., we planted 180 rose saplings from Fukuyama, a city known for its roses, to help launch the new site.

On March 8, 2022, we pruned roses and planted saplings in the sidewalk flower beds in front of the Head Office of Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., which we manage on behalf of Fukuyama City.

On December 8, 2021, with the completion of the Fukuyama Transporting Group Fukuoka Airport Distribution Center, and in cooperation with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., we planted rose saplings from Fukuyama, a city known for its roses, to help launch the new site.

On November 24, 2021, with the completion of the Fukuyama Transporting Group Itoshima Sales Office, and in cooperation with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., we planted rose saplings from Fukuyama, a city known for its roses, to help launch the new site.

On July 6, 2021, with the completion of the Fukuyama Transporting Group Susaki Sales Office, and in cooperation with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., we planted rose saplings from Fukuyama, a city known for its roses, to help launch the new site.

On March 28, 2021, with the completion of the Fukuyama Transporting Group Fukui Echizen Sales Office, and in cooperation with Fukuyama Transporting Co., Ltd., we planted 300 rose saplings from Fukuyama, a city known for its roses, to help launch the new site.
